 Haines Township has Zoning. Prior to issuance of a Building Permit, you

must obtain a Zoning Permit.

All Residential Structures or Additions require a Building Permit Application and 2 sets of plans, a copy of the Sewage Permit, Driveway Permit and Zoning Permit must be provided prior to issuance of a Building Permit.

Agricultural Buildings under 

most circumstances are exempt

from a Building Permit.  

There may be circumstances 

that require an inspection, such 

as an Electrical Inspection

Accessory Building less than 1,000 are exempt from a Building Permit (unless attached to a dwelling).  Accessory Buildings larger than 1,000 square feet require a Building Permit Application and Plans submitted to PVCEA.
