Penns Valley Code Enforcement Agency

is responsible to issue all Zoning Permit in Potter Township

A Zoning Permit is to ensure that setbacks and the project is permitted in that specific Zoning District. It is obtained from Penns Valley Code Enforcement Agency
- A map/sketch of the site plan/plot plan with distances from the property lines is required.

A Sewage Permit (required in new construction or renovation adding a bedroom(s).

A Highway Occupancy Permit -from the Roadmaster (any time a driveway is added, or when required by Centre County).

Building Permit Process

Building Permit

You MUST obtain a Zoning Permit and

provide three (3) sets of plans, and have the following:

A Zoning Permit is to ensure that setbacks and the project is permitted in that specific Zoning District. It is obtained via the Township Zoning Officer
A Sewage Permit (required in new construction or renovation adding a bedroom(s).
A Highway Occupancy Permit -from the Roadmaster (any time a driveway is added, or when required by Centre County).
A map/sketch of the site plan/plot plan with distances from the property lines.
